2 Only full-time enrolled students are entitled to the ‘student registration’ rate. A letter on your University/College letterhead signed by your Supervisor is required one week after you have registered through the conference website to maintain your student registration rate. Please send your letter via email to the Conference Organising Chair at Erin.Roehrer@utas.edu.au.

3 Students attending the Doctoral Consortium are required to register and attend the full ACIS2017 and social events.

4 A registered delegate can add one additional ticket for the Welcome Reception and/or the Conference Dinner.

 

Online Registration

Please register online using the ACIS2017 Online Registration System.

Payment can be made via the online registration system by Credit Card and direct bank transfer. If you require an Invoice or offline registration, please contact the Conference Organising Chair at Erin.Roehrer@utas.edu.au.

Accommodation at special rates for ACIS2017 can be booked through our Online Accommodation Portal. Each contracted accommodation choice has a limited set of available rooms. Discounted rates are based on a first come, first served basis. Further information on all Hobart accommodation options can be seen on our Places to stay page.

For those requiring visas to attend, complete your registration and then contact us at the Conference Organising Chair at Erin.Roehrer@utas.edu.au and provide your full name and title, passport number, purpose of attendance and embassy details. As Visa requests can take several weeks, registrants are strongly encouraged to apply for the Letter of Invitation no later than two months prior to the conference.

 

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be advised in writing to the Conference Organising Chair at Erin.Roehrer@utas.edu.au.

Registration cancellations and conference dinner ticket cancellations (that have been purchased additionally) received in writing thirty days prior to the conference will be refunded in full less and administration fee of $75 GST inclusive and $35 GST inclusive respectively. Cancellations submitted after that date will not receive a refund. Substitute delegates are welcome without penalty, but please advise the Conference Organising Chair of any name changes five days prior to the start of the conference. Any refunds to an overseas account will be refunded using the exchange rate at the time of the refund.

 

No Show Policy

To be published in the ACIS2017 conference proceedings, an author of an accepted paper MUST register for the conference by Monday 16th October 2017 and the paper MUST be presented at the conference. The presenter is required to register only once regardless of how many papers he or she (co)authors and presents.

 

Insurance

Insurance, including medical cover, travel cover and expenses incurred in the event the conference is cancelled, is your responsibility. Please discuss insurance cover with your travel agent when booking air travel.
